Rather than 3000 €, the new O&PfC Light for physical analysis of instrumented indentations is only 100 € (excl. VAT) now! Nevertheless it can determine the true elastic modulus, hardness, and yield strength of a coating.

No April Fools' joke: The new version 2.0 of O&PfC Light is on sale for only 100 € (excl. VAT) instead of formerly 3000 €! Because it focuses now strictly on the essentials with respect to physical analysis of indentation measurements helping beginners to get started: determination of elastic modulus, hardness, and yield strength of the coating taking the substrate effect into account.

The best thing about it is that physical material properties like Young's modulus and yield strength can be used for simulation-driven design or optimization of surface structures for any intended use - e.g. by means of FilmDoctor which is based on the same analytic model and thus much quicker and easier-to-use than Finite Element Models.
